The Ideal 172188 is the top insulation panel for Ideal Commercial Concord boiler casings. It sits over the upper section of the appliance, reducing heat loss from the casing and keeping surface temperatures within normal working limits. The panel is shaped to the Concord casing profile, so it locates correctly without trimming or modification.

- The insulation panel is cracked, crumbling or breaking up when the casing is opened
- Visible compression or flattening of the panel, reducing its insulating performance
- Casing surfaces at the top of the boiler running noticeably hotter than usual
