What it is
The Ideal 172171 is a front upper insulation panel used on Ideal Commercial Concord appliances. It sits at the upper front section of the appliance, where it holds heat inside the combustion and heat exchanger area and shields adjacent components from radiant heat. Over time the board can crack, crumble or become heat-damaged, at which point it stops doing its job and needs replacing.
