The Ideal 172167 is an FRT upper insulation panel, a shaped thermal barrier that sits over the upper section of the heat exchanger on Ideal Commercial Concord appliances. It reduces radiant and conductive heat loss from the hot upper casing area and protects surrounding components from prolonged heat exposure. The part is supplied by Ideal and carries the previous reference 8358-4017.
