Ideal Rear Insulation Combustion Chamber 172124

The Ideal 172124 is a rear insulation panel for the combustion chamber of Ideal Commercial Concord appliances. It is manufactured by Ideal and sits against the rear face of the chamber, where it shields the surrounding casing and panels from radiant heat and helps hold steady combustion temperatures during operation.

Insulation of this type is a serviceable item. Over time it can crack, crumble or become heat-damaged, at which point it stops doing its job and needs to be renewed.
