What it is
The Ideal 172123 is a rear insulation panel for the combustion chamber, supplied by Ideal for its Commercial Concord range of boilers. It sits against the rear wall of the combustion chamber, shielding the surrounding casing and structure from radiant heat and helping to hold stable chamber temperatures during operation. Over time the board degrades and is replaced as part of chamber servicing or repair.
