Ideal Front Insulation Panel 172118

The Ideal 172118 is a front insulation panel supplied by Ideal for its Commercial Concord range of boilers. It sits at the front of the appliance, where it limits heat transfer from the hot internal sections to the outer casing and the components mounted around it. Insulation of this type also helps hold steady temperatures around the combustion and heat exchanger area during running and standby periods.

Over time the panel can become brittle, stained or compressed, at which point it stops doing its job properly and should be renewed.
