Ideal Combustion Chamber Insulation Complete 172110

The Ideal 172110 is a complete combustion chamber insulation set for Ideal Commercial appliances. It lines the combustion chamber, holding heat inside the firing area and shielding the surrounding casing and panels from the temperatures produced during operation. The insulation is supplied as a complete assembly rather than as individual sections, so the full chamber lining can be renewed in one go.

• Insulation boards cracked, crumbling or breaking away from the chamber walls
• Discolouration, scorching or brittle, friable material around the burner area
• Fragments of insulation dropping into the combustion chamber or onto the burner
• Soot or debris collecting where the lining has broken down
• Heat damage or distortion to panels adjacent to the chamber

• Confirm the appliance model and serial number against the compatibility list before ordering, as the Concord range uses more than one chamber lining.
• Check the numbers on the existing insulation against 172110, 1178495 and 8358-8797 to confirm you are replacing like for like.
• Inspect the chamber door seal and any gaskets disturbed during strip-down, and renew them if they are compressed or perished.
• This part is fitted to a gas appliance; installation must be carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer.
