The Ideal 172099 is a complete combustion chamber supplied by Ideal for its Commercial Concord range of appliances. It forms the enclosed space around the burner where combustion takes place, containing the flame and directing hot flue gases towards the heat exchanger. Because it sits at the heart of the combustion process, the chamber must remain sound and correctly sealed to keep combustion stable and flue products on the correct path.

• Visible cracking, distortion or burn-through on the chamber walls or base
• Heavy sooting or blackening around the burner area that returns after cleaning
• Flame rollout or unstable flame picture at the burner
• Combustion readings that drift outside the expected range and cannot be corrected by adjustment
