What it is
The Ideal 172080 is the upper rear crossbar that forms part of the casing assembly on Ideal Commercial Concord appliances. It sits across the upper rear section of the casing framework, giving the outer panels a rigid mounting point and helping the casing hold its shape around the heat exchanger and flue components. As a structural casing part it is exposed to heat cycling and general handling, so it can corrode, distort or crack over the life of the appliance.
