What it is
The upper rear crossbar is a casing assembly component made by Ideal for its Commercial Concord range of appliances. It sits at the top rear of the appliance shell, where it ties the casing panels together and keeps the outer structure square and rigid. The crossbar also carries the fixing points that the surrounding panels locate onto, so it takes the load of the casing rather than any part of the combustion or water circuit.
