What it is
The Ideal right-hand side section is a complete heat exchanger section used in Ideal Commercial Concord ES series appliances. It forms part of the heat exchanger assembly, the component that transfers heat from the burner into the system water before the flue gases leave the appliance. This is the right-hand element of the assembly, supplied as a complete section.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Water weeping from the heat exchanger section or from the joints between sections
- Visible corrosion, pitting or heavy scale on the section casting
- Reduced heat output, with the appliance slow to reach temperature
- Combustion readings drifting outside the expected range for the model
