Ideal Sealing Rope 23 x 23 190-1200 171750

The Ideal 171750 is a sealing rope supplied by Ideal for use on Ideal Commercial boiler assemblies. It forms a heat-resistant gasket between mating surfaces, such as a combustion chamber door or access panel, closing the gap so that flue products stay inside the appliance and air leakage into the combustion path is controlled. The rope is supplied in a 23 x 23 section with a stated length range of 190-1200.

• The rope is brittle, crumbly or breaking up when the door or panel is opened.
• The rope has flattened or hardened and no longer springs back against the mating face.
• Soot streaking, staining or heat marks around the door edge or panel joint.
• The door will not seat evenly, or the seal has to be forced to close.
• Visible gaps between the rope and the groove it sits in.
