Ideal Cable Channel 2400mm Long Right 171227

The Ideal 171227 is a long right-hand cable channel, supplied as part of the casing assembly for Ideal Commercial appliances. It carries and retains the wiring loom along the right-hand side of the casing, keeping cables routed clear of hot surfaces and moving components. The channel is listed under part type casing assembly and is used across the Ideal Commercial Viscount GTE range and other Ideal Commercial models.

• Visible cracks, splits or distortion along the length of the channel
• Cables no longer held securely and able to move out of position
• Chafing, scuffing or abrasion marks on the wiring where it sits in the channel
• Casing panels that will not sit flush because the channel is bent or misaligned
• Damage found during a routine service or casing strip-down

• Confirm your appliance model and serial number against the compatibility list before ordering
• Check the number on the existing channel and compare it with 171227 and 85558058
• Inspect the wiring loom and casing fixings at the same time, as these are often disturbed when the channel is removed
• Retain the original fixings where they are serviceable so the replacement channel can be refitted correctly
