Ideal Cover Insulation 20 Section 171190

The Ideal 171190 is a cover insulation panel produced by Ideal for the SWP range of sectional commercial boilers. It is sized for a 20-section appliance and is fitted over the boiler section assembly to limit heat loss to the surrounding casing and plant room. The insulation also helps hold the section temperature steady during operation, which supports consistent combustion and reduces the risk of hot spots on the outer panels.

• Insulation surface is crumbling, friable or shedding fibres when the casing is opened
• Visible scorching, charring or discolouration on the panel or the casing behind it
• Damp or saturated insulation, often after a leak or condensate spill in the plant room
