What it is

The Ideal 170989 is an expansion vessel kit for the sealed heating circuit of Ideal gas boilers. The vessel absorbs the increase in water volume as the system heats up, holding the pressure steady and protecting the boiler and radiators from the pressure swings that occur in a sealed system. This version is the pre-prefix XF kit, and the earlier number 173066 appears on older documentation for the same application.
