What it is
The Ideal 170419 is a left-hand lower rear panel, supplied as part of the outer casing assembly for Ideal Commercial appliances. It closes off the lower rear section of the casing, shielding internal components from dust, debris and accidental contact while keeping the appliance's external profile intact. This panel is the direct replacement for the section originally fitted to Viscount GTE models and other Ideal Commercial units.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Corrosion or rust along the panel edges, seams or fixing points
- Dents, buckling or distortion that stop the panel seating flush against the casing
- Elongated or torn screw holes that no longer hold the panel securely
- Flaking paint or heat discolouration across the rear casing
- Rattling or vibration where the panel has worked loose from its fixings
Before you order
- Confirm your appliance model and serial number against the compatibility list before ordering
- Check the number stamped or printed on the existing panel, as earlier builds used 82598021
- Inspect the panel fixings and replace any that are corroded, seized or missing
