Ideal Upper Baffle 170302

The Ideal 170302 is an upper baffle for Ideal Commercial gas boilers. It sits in the heat exchanger flue path and slows the passage of hot combustion gases so more heat is transferred to the water circuit before the gases leave the appliance. Baffles are consumable items: repeated thermal cycling, condensate attack and soot deposits eventually distort or erode them, which shows up as reduced efficiency and higher flue temperatures.
