What it is
The Complete Vermiculite Background is a Valor boiler spare part, supplied as a complete vermiculite background assembly. Vermiculite backgrounds are used within boiler combustion and heat exchange areas as a heat-resistant insulating lining. This item is listed against the Valor group spare parts range and is supplied complete rather than as loose sections.
Before you order
- Confirm the appliance model and GC number against the manufacturer's literature so the correct background assembly is selected.
- Check the existing background in the appliance for the number of sections and the fixing arrangement before ordering.
- Inspect any associated seals, gaskets and fastenings, as these are commonly renewed when a background is replaced.
- Note that vermiculite components are fragile; handle and store flat until fitment.
