What it is
The Ideal 154813 is a printed circuit board that provides ignition control, identified by the board code S4561B1054. It forms part of the control electronics inside the appliance and governs the ignition sequence, spark output and flame supervision so the burner lights and continues to run safely. It is supplied as an Ideal Spares PCB for Ideal domestic heating appliances.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The appliance fails to fire and drops into lockout on a call for heat or hot water
- No spark is produced at the ignition electrode when the boiler is demanded
- Ignition is intermittent, with the boiler locking out repeatedly before or after lighting
- The burner lights and then extinguishes shortly afterwards
- The appliance shows no response at all when heat or hot water is requested
