Ideal Furnace Door Insulation 6/8 Section 153453

The Ideal 153453 is a furnace door insulation panel supplied for the Ideal Commercial Falcon GTE range of appliances. It sits on the inside face of the furnace door, where it limits heat transfer from the combustion chamber to the outer casing panels and helps hold steady operating temperatures around the burner area. The panel is listed under casings, covers and panels and is supplied as a single insulation section.

• Insulation material cracked, crumbling or breaking away from the door panel
• Scorched, blistered or heavily discoloured surface on the insulation face
• Insulation detached or sagging so it no longer sits flat against the door
• Outer furnace door panel running noticeably hotter than usual in service
• Heat or combustion odour escaping around the door during operation

• Confirm the appliance model and serial number against the compatibility list, as this insulation is listed for Falcon GTE and GTE4 variants only
• Check the number on the existing insulation or door assembly against 82275505 and 1177013 before ordering
• Inspect the door gasket, rope seal and fixings at the same time, as these are commonly disturbed when the door is opened
