What it is

The Ideal 150155 is a main ignition burner assembly built for Ideal Commercial gas boilers. It carries the gas/air mixture to the burner head, where ignition takes place and the flame is established across the five burner sections. It is a serviceable component within the Concord CX and CXA range and is supplied as a complete burner assembly rather than as individual sections.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • The boiler locks out repeatedly and will not establish a stable flame.
  • Delayed ignition, with a noticeable thump or pop when the burner lights.
  • Uneven flame pattern across the burner sections, or flame lift and instability.
  • Sooting or discolouration around the burner head and heat exchanger.
  • Visible distortion, cracking or corrosion of the burner body or sections.

Before you order

  • Check the appliance GC number and model against the compatibility list to confirm the burner is correct for your boiler.
  • Cross-reference the alternative part numbers 1176791 and N7359 against the existing burner before ordering.
  • This part is fitted to a gas appliance; installation must be carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer.
