Intergas Heat Exchanger 147327

The Intergas Heat Exchanger, part number 147327, is the primary heat exchanger assembly used in the Intergas Rapid range of gas boilers. It transfers heat from the combustion gases to the heating and hot water circuits, and forms the core of the appliance's heat transfer path. The part is identified by the manufacturer's reference 147327.

• Water or residue collecting beneath the heat exchanger or around its connections.
• Repeated overheating or overheat lockouts caused by restricted flow through the exchanger.
• Kettling, banging or rumbling noises during the heating cycle.
• Fluctuating or inconsistent domestic hot water temperature.
• Combustion readings that fall outside the expected range on a flue gas analysis.

• Confirm the boiler model against the fitment list, as the Rapid 25 and Rapid 32 use different variants of the range.
• Check the part number on the existing component or boiler documentation matches 147327.
• Verify whether the fault lies with the heat exchanger itself rather than scale, circulation or pump issues before ordering.
• Allow for the seals, gaskets and connections associated with the exchanger, which are not supplied as part of this item.
