What it is
The Powrmatic 142251742 is a taperlock bush, listed under the 2517-42:MECRO designation. A taperlock bush is a split, tapered bush used to secure a hub-mounted component such as a pulley or sprocket onto a shaft. Powrmatic catalogues this item within its water heater spares range.
Before you order
- Confirm the part number 142251742 against the existing bush or the appliance documentation.
- Check that the bush marking reads 2517-42:MECRO, as the size and bore designation must suit the shaft and hub it is being fitted to.
- This is a general mechanical fixing rather than an appliance-specific component, so verify the fit dimension against the component being secured.
