What it is

The Ideal 133067 is the ignition and sensing probe wiring harness used across the Ideal Commercial Super Plus family of appliances. It carries the ignition and flame-sensing signals between the probe assembly and the boiler control board, so the board can both spark the burner and confirm that a flame has been established. The harness is supplied as a complete lead with the probe connection and board-end plug already fitted.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • The boiler attempts to light but there is no spark at the probe, or sparking is intermittent.
  • The burner lights and then locks out because the board is not receiving a flame-sensing signal.
  • Repeated lockouts or ignition fault codes that clear only briefly after a reset.
  • Visible damage to the lead: cracked or brittle insulation, heat damage near the probe end, or a loose/corroded plug at the control board.
  • Continuity faults in the harness that change when the lead is moved or flexed.

Before you order

  • Check the appliance GC number and model plate against the compatibility list, as the same part number is used across several Super Plus variants.
  • Confirm the harness routing and connector type on your appliance match the part before fitting.
  • This part is fitted to a gas appliance; installation must be carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer.
