What it is

The Vaillant 125138 is a replacement handle for the water valve fitted with the distinctive + mark. It is a Vaillant-manufactured component used on MAG series boilers, allowing the water valve to be opened and closed by hand. The handle is specific to that valve type, so the + marking on the valve body should be confirmed before ordering.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • The handle is cracked, snapped or has lost part of its grip
  • The handle turns freely on the spindle without operating the valve
  • The valve cannot be opened or closed because the handle will not grip
  • The handle has become stiff or seized and will not turn by hand
  • The handle has come away from the valve spindle completely

Before you order

  • Confirm the appliance model and check it against the fit list above
  • Check that the water valve body carries the distinctive + mark
  • Inspect the valve spindle for damage or wear before fitting a new handle
  • Compare the old handle's shape and fixing to the part number 125138
