What it is
The Altecnic 28mm Press-fit Blue Lever Handle Ball Valve is an isolation valve from the Altecnic ball valve range. It uses a press-fit connection on 28mm pipework and is operated by a blue lever handle. It is intended for isolation duty on boiler and heating system pipework.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The lever no longer moves the ball through its full quarter-turn, or the handle turns without changing flow.
- Visible leakage from the valve body, spindle or press-fit joints.
- The valve will not isolate the circuit and water passes through when closed.
