Altecnic 22mm Press-Fit Blue Lever Handle Ball Valve

The Altecnic 22mm Press-fit Blue Lever Handle Ball Valve is a quarter-turn isolating valve for 22mm pipework. The press-fit connection secures the valve body to the pipe without soldering or a threaded joint, and the blue lever handle indicates the open or closed position at a glance. It is used on Altecnic ball valve installations where a compact, serviceable isolation point is needed.

• The lever no longer turns freely, or is stiff through part of its travel
• Water continues to pass through the valve when the lever is in the closed position
• Weeping or dripping from the spindle where the lever enters the body
• Corrosion, scale build-up or staining around the valve body or press-fit joints
• The lever handle has become loose or detached from the spindle

• Confirm the pipework is 22mm and suitable for a press-fit connection
• Check there is enough clearance around the pipe run for the lever to swing through its full quarter turn
