Altecnic Press-fit Butterfly Handle Ball Valve 15mm 124-8013

The Altecnic 15mm Press-fit Butterfly Handle Ball Valve is a quarter-turn isolation valve from the Altecnic ball valve range. It is installed on 15mm pipework to allow flow to be shut off locally for servicing, maintenance or draining down. The butterfly handle gives a clear visual indication of the valve position and can be operated by hand.

• The handle turns but water continues to pass through when the valve is closed
• The handle is seized, stiff or will not complete its quarter turn
• Weeping or dripping from the spindle where the handle enters the body
• Visible scale, corrosion or scoring on the valve body or press-fit ends
• Leakage at the press-fit joint that cannot be resolved by re-making the connection

• Confirm the pipework is 15mm and that press-fit tooling and jaws suitable for the fitting are available
• Check the valve location for clearance around the butterfly handle through its full quarter turn
• Confirm the isolation point is required on the flow or return and that the valve orientation suits the installation
• Verify the existing valve's connection type, as this item is a press-fit pattern and is not interchangeable with threaded or compression patterns
