What it is
The Altecnic 1/2 T-pattern 3-Way Ball Valve is a quarter-turn ball valve with three ports and a T-pattern ball configuration, allowing flow to be switched or diverted between connected pipework. It is manufactured by Altecnic and forms part of the Altecnic ball valve range used on heating and plumbing installations. The lever-operated ball rotates within the body to open, close or redirect the flow path as required.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The valve weeps or drips from the spindle area when operated
- The lever is stiff, seized or will not complete a full quarter turn
- Flow is not diverted correctly between ports when the valve is turned
- Scale, debris or corrosion is preventing the ball from sealing properly
- Visible leakage at the body joints or pipe connections
Before you order
- Confirm the valve is the correct three-way T-pattern configuration for the pipework layout
- Check the pipe size matches the 1/2 valve size on the existing fitting
- Verify the port arrangement and handle position suit the available access space
- Isolate and drain the relevant circuit before removal and fitting
