What it is
The Vaillant 115258 wiring harness is the electrical loom used to connect the control and safety components within the appliance. It is manufactured by Vaillant for the MAG XI range of gas water heaters. The harness carries low-voltage control and ignition circuits between the PCB, sensors and gas valve assembly.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Cracked, brittle or hardened insulation on the loom
- Scorched, discoloured or melted connector housings
- Corroded or loose terminals causing intermittent operation
- Chafed or broken conductors where the harness passes through the casing
- Faults that clear or reappear when the loom is moved
Before you order
- Confirm your appliance model matches one of the fitments listed above
- Check the part number on the existing harness where it is legible
- Inspect the connector layout and pin count against the harness being removed
- Check for any other damaged electrical components before fitting
