What it is
The Vaillant 115195 is a pilot burner assembly used in Vaillant MAG series water heaters. It provides the standing flame that ignites the main burner when there is a demand for hot water. The pilot burner is a serviceable component and is replaced when the pilot flame can no longer be established or held reliably.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The pilot flame will not light or will not stay lit after release of the control knob
- A weak, yellow or unstable pilot flame that will not hold a steady blue cone
- The pilot flame repeatedly extinguishes during normal operation
- Visible damage, corrosion or blockage at the pilot burner head or its injector
- Soot deposits building up around the pilot assembly
Before you order
- Confirm the appliance model against the fitment list above, as pilot burners differ between MAG variants
- Check the data badge on the appliance for the exact model and variant code
- Inspect the existing pilot assembly for damage or blockage before deciding to replace it
- Confirm the gas type of the installation matches the appliance
