What it is
The Ideal 111267 is a 3/4 inch ball valve with a square operating head, supplied as a gas cock for the DF V2000 range. It sits on the gas feed to the appliance and lets an engineer isolate and reinstate the supply during servicing, commissioning or repair. The part is used across the Ideal Commercial Concord CX series.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The square head turns but the valve no longer shuts the gas supply off completely.
- A gas smell or visible weep around the spindle or gland.
- The operating head is stiff, seized or rounded off and will not turn cleanly with a spanner.
- A pressure drop or leak is found at the valve during a tightness test.
- Corrosion or mechanical damage to the valve body or head.
