What it is

The Ideal 100610 is a board to board harness — the internal wiring link that carries signals and low-voltage supply between the printed circuit boards inside the appliance. It is an Ideal Commercial spare, listed under the Concord Super Series 4 range of commercial boilers. The harness plugs onto the board connectors at each end, so the control and output boards can communicate and the boiler can sequence and fire as designed.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • The boiler locks out or shows a communication or board fault code that clears and returns.
  • The display or control panel behaves erratically, with intermittent power or no response at all.
  • One or more boards appear dead even though the appliance is receiving supply.
  • Visible damage to the harness — chafed insulation, a burnt or discoloured connector, or a cracked plug housing.
  • A connector that will not latch securely onto the board header, or that works only when the loom is moved.

Before you order

  • Confirm the appliance model and serial number against the compatibility list, as the Concord Super Series 4 was built in horizontal and vertical formats.
  • Note the alternative number 1175302 when cross-referencing older documentation or stock records.
  • Isolate the electrical supply and photograph the original harness routing before removal, so the replacement is clipped back the same way.
  • Check the board headers for corrosion or heat damage while the harness is off; a damaged header will fault a new loom.
