What it is

The Vokera gas valve cable is the electrical connection lead that links the gas valve to the boiler's control circuit on Vokera Sabre HE PLUS appliances. It carries the control signals that regulate gas flow during ignition and modulation. This part is listed by Vokera under part number 10029425.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • The boiler fails to ignite or locks out intermittently with no other fault indicated
  • The gas valve does not respond when the boiler calls for heat
  • Visible damage to the cable, such as cracked insulation, scorching or exposed conductors
  • Loose, corroded or heat-damaged terminals at either end of the lead
  • Fault codes or diagnostics pointing to a lost signal between the control board and the gas valve

Before you order

  • Confirm the boiler is a Sabre HE PLUS 25 or 29 built before 2009, as later versions use different components
  • Check the existing cable's connectors and routing against the part you intend to fit
  • Verify the part number 10029425 on the appliance's parts list before ordering
  • Gas valve work must be carried out by a competent, registered engineer
