What it is
A white cap plug supplied by Vokera under part number 10028002. It is used on Vokera Excel gas boilers to blank off an unused tapping or port on the appliance. The cap forms part of the boiler's casing and connection hardware rather than its combustion or hydraulic assembly.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The cap is missing from its tapping or port
- Cracks, splits or brittleness in the plastic
- The cap sits loose and will not hold in place
- Discolouration or heat damage to the cap material
- Signs of weeping or staining around the blanked tapping
Before you order
- Confirm your boiler is a Vokera Excel 25, Excel 29 or Excel 35
- Check the part number 10028002 against the manufacturer's parts list for your model
- Identify the tapping or port the cap is intended to blank off before ordering
- Check whether any sealing washer or clip is required separately, as these are not listed with this part
