What it is
The Vokera LED light guide, part number 10024680, is a light-transmitting component used on Vokera RAIN series gas boilers. It carries light from the PCB-mounted LED to the boiler fascia so the status indication is visible at the front of the appliance. It is listed for the RAIN 24 and RAIN 28 models and their BI variants.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Status LED not visible on the boiler fascia while the appliance is operating
- Light output at the fascia is dim, uneven or partially blocked
- Flickering or intermittent illumination traced to the light guide
- Cracking, clouding or discolouration of the light guide body
- Light guide loose or displaced from its mounting
Before you order
- Confirm the boiler model is one of the RAIN variants listed above
- Check the part number on the existing light guide or against the manufacturer's parts list
- Inspect the LED behind the guide, as a failed LED will not be resolved by replacing the guide alone
