What it is
The Vokera 10023909 is a back insulating panel that fits to the rear of the combustion chamber on Vokera gas boilers. It forms part of the combustion chamber insulation, sitting behind the burner area to protect the surrounding casing from heat. It is listed under burner components in the Vokera spares range.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Visible cracking, crumbling or flaking of the insulating panel
- Discolouration or scorching of the panel surface
- Panel material breaking away or dropping into the combustion chamber
- Panel no longer sitting flush against the rear chamber wall
- Heat damage to the panel noted during a service or burner strip-down
Before you order
- Confirm your boiler model against the fit list above, as the Compact 28 and Sabre 28 SE variants use different chamber layouts
- Check the GC number on the appliance data badge to confirm the exact variant
- Inspect the existing panel position to confirm whether the back or front insulating panel is the one requiring replacement
- Compare the shape and fixing points of the removed panel with the part before fitting
