What it is
The Vokera 10021255 is a spark electrode used on Mynute series gas boilers. It sits at the burner and provides the ignition spark that lights the gas on a call for heat. The electrode is a serviceable ignition component and is replaced when the spark path breaks down or the ceramic insulator fails.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Boiler fails to light, with no spark at the burner
- Repeated lockout on ignition attempts
- Visible cracking, crazing or carbon tracking on the electrode ceramic
- Spark arcing to earth instead of across the ignition gap
- Electrode tip eroded, bent or heavily sooted
