What it is
The Vokera 10020889 is a pressure differential switch used on Vokera gas boilers built after May 2006. It monitors the pressure difference across the fan and flue system, proving airflow before the boiler is allowed to fire. It is listed under air pressure switches for the Compact HE, Sabre HE, Procombi, Excell and Mynute ranges.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Boiler goes to lockout shortly after the fan starts
- Fan runs but the boiler does not fire and no ignition attempt is made
- Intermittent lockouts, particularly in windy conditions or with a cold flue
- Boiler fails to run in either heating or hot water mode
- Fault code indicating an air pressure or fan proving fault
