What it is

This O-ring is a sealing component for Johnson & Starley Reno 30C and Reno 37C boilers. It is fitted on the return connection between the manifold/turbine and the heat exchanger. The O-ring provides a watertight seal at that joint.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • Water weeping or dripping from the return connection between the manifold/turbine and heat exchanger.
  • Visible scale, corrosion, or staining around the O-ring seating area.
  • The O-ring appears flattened, cracked, or hardened when inspected.
  • Repeated pressure loss in the heating system with no other obvious leak.
