What it is
The ALPHA O RING 32.99 X 2.62 NITRILE is a nitrile (NBR) sealing ring manufactured under the Alpha brand. It measures 32.99 x 2.62 and is supplied as a single sealing component for use in heating and plumbing applications. Nitrile is the standard elastomer for oil- and fuel-resistant static sealing duties on heating plant.
Before you order
- Confirm the dimensions against the old ring or the appliance's parts listing — 32.99 x 2.62 must match exactly for the seal to seat correctly.
- Check the sealing environment is suitable for nitrile; nitrile is intended for oil, fuel and general water duties, not for high-temperature steam or aggressive chemical exposure.
- Inspect the groove or housing for scoring, corrosion or debris before fitting, as surface damage will prevent the new ring from sealing.
