What it is
The Alpha 1.2343 is a nitrile O-ring measuring 21.89mm x 2.62mm with a 70 shore hardness. It is fitted to the Alpha InTEC 50CS gas boiler, where it provides a fluid-tight seal at a joint within the appliance.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Visible cracking, hardening or flattening of the rubber
- Water weeping or dripping from the joint the O-ring seals
- Swelling or deformation of the seal
- Scale, corrosion or staining around the joint
- A leak that returns shortly after the joint is reassembled
