What it is

Alpha 1.037212 is a manual reset thermostat rated at 220°C, listed as an overhead stat with reset. It is used on Alpha commercial boiler ranges, where it trips at its rated temperature to shut the appliance down. Because the reset is manual, the appliance remains locked out until the stat is reset by hand.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • The appliance locks out and will not restart until the reset on the stat is pressed
  • Repeated overheat trips during normal running
  • The stat fails to reset after tripping
  • The appliance cuts out after a period of operation with an overheat fault indicated
  • Visible damage, corrosion or a burnt smell at the thermostat

Before you order

  • Confirm your appliance model appears in the fitment list above
  • Check that the existing thermostat is a manual reset type and is marked with a 220°C rating
  • Check the appliance variant, including LPG versions, before ordering
  • Match the part number 1.037212 or reference 1037212 against the component being replaced
