What it is
Genuine Alpha primary heat exchanger. Water passes through it in the boiler, heating it before being fed to the central heating system's radiators.

- Reduced hot water temperature or inconsistent heat output
- Boiler locks out on an overheat or high-limit fault
- Visible scale, corrosion or leaks on the exchanger
- Increased kettling noise from the boiler during heating
