What it is
This is Alpha's main printed circuit board. It is the control centre of the boiler, managing ignition, modulation and safety monitoring via its connected switches, sensors and thermostats.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Boiler fails to ignite or repeatedly locks out
- Display shows an electronics or PCB-related fault code
- Intermittent loss of power or erratic control of heating/hot water
- Visible scorch marks, corrosion or a burning smell from the control panel
