What it is

The G1 1/2 isolation valve is an Alpha service valve used on the Alpha Commercial Protec range of commercial boilers. It allows the water supply to a circuit or component to be shut off for servicing or repair. The valve has a G1 1/2 threaded connection.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • Water weeps from the valve body or spindle when the valve is operated
  • The valve will not turn or is seized in position
  • A leak at the threaded connection continues after resealing
  • The water supply cannot be isolated for servicing or repair

Before you order

  • Confirm the part number 1.024899 matches the valve being replaced
  • Check the connection size is G1 1/2
