Alpha Pump 1.024234

The Alpha 1.024234 is a circulation pump used in Alpha gas-fired boilers. It moves heating water around the primary circuit, maintaining flow through the heat exchanger and out to the radiators and hot water circuit. This pump is listed for the Alpha Cd70S (LPG) appliance.

• The pump runs hot, hums loudly or emits a grinding or screeching noise.
• The boiler fires but radiators stay cold, or heat output is uneven across the system.
• The boiler locks out or reports a flow or circulation fault.
• Water is weeping from the pump body, gland or connection joints.
• The pump head is unresponsive, with no vibration or audible running when demand is present.

• Confirm the appliance model against the data badge, including the LPG variant, and check it against the manufacturer's parts list.
• Read the part number from the label on the existing pump and match it to 1.024234.
• Check whether the pump is fitted with isolation valves, as this affects how the swap is carried out.
• Verify the system has been correctly dosed and vented, as trapped air and debris are common causes of pump failure.
