What it is
The Alpha pressure gauge displays the central heating system's water pressure on the boiler's fascia. It is a genuine Alpha part, number 1.023551.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The gauge reads inaccurately, sticks, or shows no pressure with the system full
- The gauge glass or case is cracked or fogged with condensation
- The needle fails to respond when system pressure is topped up
Before you order
- Isolate the boiler and depressurise before removing the old gauge
- Match the pressure range and connection thread against the original
- Repressurise the system and check for leaks once the new gauge is fitted
