What it is
The Alpha 1.022709 is a main burner injector with a 5.25 mm orifice, used on Alpha CD24R and CD28X gas boilers. It meters gas into the main burner, so its bore size directly governs the gas rate and the shape of the flame at the burner. It is a serviceable component and is replaced when the injector becomes blocked, damaged or worn.
