What it is

The Alpha LPG burner injector (part number 1.022509) is a 4.0 mm metering jet for the burner assembly on Alpha CD series gas boilers. It controls the flow of liquefied petroleum gas into the burner, so the correct injector size is essential for stable ignition and combustion. This injector is specific to LPG (propane) variants of the Alpha CD range.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • Boiler fails to ignite or locks out on an LPG supply
  • Weak, uneven or unstable burner flame
  • Yellow or sooty flame indicating an incorrect gas/air mixture
  • Combustion readings outside the expected range for the appliance
  • Visible blockage, damage or wear at the injector

Before you order

  • Confirm the boiler is the LPG variant, not natural gas
  • Check the model and GC number against the fitment list
  • Verify the existing injector is marked 4.0 mm
  • Match part number 1.022509 on the old component
